    Attend Mountaineer Day at EOU

    Congratulations! You’re about to begin your academic experience at EOU and we are here to help every step of the way. As a newly admitted student, you’ll get a head start on your college career by attending one of our Virtual or In Person Mountaineer Day events. Below is some important information you need to know, so keep reading!

    More Information about the Virtual Sessions

    • Students will need internet access and a computer or mobile device to participate through Zoom webinar & Zoom meetings the day of the event.
    • Registration for the event is required so students can receive the schedule with appropriate links.  The schedule will be sent out to students registered for the event the Wednesday prior to the event date.
    • Parents and family members are welcome to attend with their student!

    Plan for a day filled with fun and informative Zoom meetings that will help make your transition to college a smooth one including scheduling your advising session and registering for classes. During the morning you’ll learn more about academic advising, student resources, how to effectively manage your college finances, and how to get your student ID card.

    In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to select the meetings that you would like to learn more about such as: one-on-one financial aid meeting, virtual housing tours, and a social hour session for students to meet other new Mountaineers!

    • Students may bring two (2) guests with them for the event.
    • Registration for the event is required so we can plan accordingly for lunch and event space on campus!

    Register for Mountaineer Day

    You will need to login below with your EOU Application Portal credentials to register for a Mountaineer Day. The username is the email you applied with. If you are unable to locate your account information, please contact the Admissions Office by email at admissions@eou.edu or by phone at 541.962.3393.

    Registration will close at 12:00 PM the Wednesday prior to each Mountaineer Day- Virtual or In Person.

    Preparing for Mountaineer Day

    • Schedule to take the Accuplacer, a placement tool, with the Testing Center by emailing testing@eou.edu.  If you have taken college level writing or math, check with your Academic Advisor if you will need to take Accuplacer.
    • If you have taken any college level classes, be sure to submit your official transcript to the Admissions Office as soon as possible. An unofficial transcript emailed to your Academic Advisor will help in the class registration process if an official copy will not arrive in time.
    • Make sure you have successfully logged in to your Mountie Pass and you remember your log-in information.  You will use this during your advising session to access Mountie Hub and registration.
