Academy Policies

Read carefully. Any violation of these rules may result in the participant being removed from the academy.
1. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and smoking are prohibited.
2. Participants may bring and leave cars on EOU campus; however, participants must remain on-campus upon arrival to the academy. During the academy, all transportation if needed will be provided for participants by Eastern Oregon University.
3. Participants are expected to participate in ALL scheduled activities during the academy. The schedule is demanding, but includes amply opportunities for recreation and rest.
4. Participants must abide in the Eastern Oregon University rules and regulations for visiting groups.

Submission of this application obligates the parent/student or third party to pay tuition costs accrued from attending Eastern Oregon University classes.

Due to a generous grant from the Oregon Department of Education, this year's Academy will be free for participants other than transportation to La Grande and the required $25 application fee.

A $25 application fee will be required for all Summer Institute applicants. Instructions how to pay this fee will be sent to your email.
